Student gov
Get tutored in Arabic/Turkish, proficient (also fluent in Farsi)
[ *] Essays: Pretty damn good essays, hired a past Dartmouth admission counselor current Dartmouth Med student to help write them.
[ *] Teacher Recommendation: 9/10 (one of them pretty much asked me to write a rec for me)
[ *] Counselor Rec: She said she emphasized my “diversity”… I’d probably say 7-8/10
[ *] Additional Rec: 10/10 from the head of otolaryngology at the hospital. Obviously haven’t read it, but I’m sure it’s really good

RD international Applicant here! Do interviews matter much? I never requested one, and was never offered one, but will nit having an interview up my belt be a problem?

@DVDplayer having an interview certainly helps… given you did well, but not having one doesn’t hurt you at all!

Thank you, @sylvania123 . Just Checked the website and it says that no interviews are being scheduled at the moment. I don’t know if I am checking the right page. Will you please provide me with a link to the page on which I can register for an interview? Btw, I am an international student.

@DVDplayer hey man, sorry to bear bad news but I think the interview deadline already passed since it is already 1 month before the notification date. As of now, we can only wait and have confidence in our applications. I am sure you did fine on it so I would just wait and relax if I were you! :slight_smile:

@sylvania123 Yeah man, no worries.

@DVDplayer where you from though? If you don’t mind me asking

@sylvania123 Bangladesh

Does anyone know when the decisions are going to be released? The website says April 1 if I am not wrong, but will that date be strictly maintained?

@DVDplayer interviews aren’t offered to applicants outside the united states, so my regional counselor told me… Following last years threads, decisions were mailed march 20th and were available online march 21st.

I am going to guess we might hear on the evening of March 18 (based on last year)
