Cold or hot showers?

Always hot (Except after running)

Wow lol. I thought I was a bit of an anomaly…but it seems like most people take hot showers  that makes me feel better.

Hot almost all the time in HK because it’s difficult to manipulate the temperature. In peak summer I may make it cooler. But in India it’s almost always cold or it ends cold unless it’s the middle of the winter.

I almost always start off hot and finish cold…it’s easier that way

I take cold showers before jumping in the pool to make it seem warm.

It’s a stupid idea, but I’m psychologically basic I guess. I trick myself into believing that it’s easier than jumping into the frigid pool.

But besides that, I take hot baths all the time. My bath to shower ratio is probably 7:1.

^Haha I do that too sometimes. It works well.

Hot showers.

I set off the fire alarm upon opening the bathroom door after my showers.
Scalding is the way to go.

I like a medium temperature. The nozzle is facing up not diagonal left or right. It’s still warm though. I usually may take a cold shower in the summer, because it gets hot here.

I do occasionally take cold showers if I’ve just walked home in August or something, but normally it’s at least lukewarm.

I love the bathroom in my grandparents’ house. We have a fireplace on top of which is a large basin of water. Above the basin is a tap which pours cold water into it. We load wood/paper/coconut tree debris into the fireplace and set them alight to warm up the water. The fireplace and the basin are enclosed in a little cube. It’s so traditional and fun :)

^I don’t get it…

^ sorry, that was completely random. Basically, it’s like a big cub in the corner of the bathroom. Cut into the cube are two shapes:

A small cuboid at the front which acts as a fireplace and

a basin which can be filled with water

…that sounds cool. I wish I could see a picture, lol.

I was just seized with homesickness and an urge to describe th bathroom instead of doing world literature :(

^ Ew, WL. Fully explained points with quotations this Friday, yes?

beep yeah and intro…I haven’t gotten past the title

I start out hot and if it’s a hot day I’ll gradually lower the temperature. When I got back from my SAT II’s it was in the 90’s I think, and I had just walked 2 miles home so the cold shower was amazing.
