<p>I don't think AP scores are going to matter at all. </p>

<p>You will be unique because you are from Hawaii. I'm not exactly sure what a 31 ACT translates to on an SAT scale, but think you are basically in the running, but not necessarily a slam dunk by any means. Apply ED to maximize your chances if Colgate is your first choice. I think it definitely makes a difference in marginal cases like this.</p>

so comparable to a 1400/1600 i believe</p>

<p>You certainly have good chances, but I hear Colgate can be a little stingy with aid?</p>

<p>Like others pointed out, I would say you should go ED if you're serious about Colgate. You're qualified, and a great essay will get you in.</p>
