From NYC, still haven’t heard back yet. Anybody in the north east get anything?
I’m from the north east and I haven’t heard anything back. I also didn’t get any notifications from FedEx
I’m from NE as well and haven’t received anything, although FedEx doesn’t make its rounds where I live until about now. Has anyone been accepted anywhere?
I’m getting the package from FedEx today any minute now, so I’ll post when I get it.
Just got accepted! The package was thin, the dimensions of a normal 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper. Comes with a calendar, financial aid document, a bumper sticker, the letter, and a poster. All of it was just put in a fedex package, there was no envelope inside. Good luck everybody!
@Ethan650 congrats! What part of the us do you live in?
Wow congratulations! Is it true that the dean of admissions writes a note?
I live in the midwest, I woke up today and saw on FedEx that the package was out for delivery!
Yep, the dean of admissions writes a note in the corner. For mine, he said "when we read "
[quote from my essay here]
we knew you had the Colgate spirit."
I live in California and I got my acceptance package today!
By fedex?
Anybody know if acceptance letters and rejection letters are mailed by the same shipping speed? As in, priority, first class, etc…
To anyone that has been accepted already- did your portal change?
My son received his acceptance letter by FedEx in California and his portal hasn’t changed. Good luck to everyone!
My son was accepted today. In California… Fedex. Very happy boy.
Acceptances and rejections/deferrals are dispatched at the same time but not via the same method. Acceptances via Fedex; others USPS (in US).
Still waiting in the northeast; congrats to those who have been accepted!!
I’m still waiting in the north east too… i didn’t get any notifications from fed ex so I’m worried…
I just wanted to clear up some misinformation about how the notifications are sent out. We live in the Northeast, and my daughter received an acceptance by regular mail today. Knowing how important it was to her, our mailman sorted through his letters early this morning and dropped by our house at 7 AM to deliver the good news! Good luck to everyone – I’m sure you all deserve to get in.
Thanks @cgcb. Helpful. And hopeful!
