So when they say they plan to "communicate our decisions on or around the 20th" does that mean mail it on the 20th or we should get it on the 20th?

I’ve been asking myself the same question… :(

I think they mean it will be March 20 or earlier. Hope not later cause one guy from my country already got accepted, but without FA, so I probably do not stand a chance, so I am willing to get the decision and stop freaking out about it.

hey konspace, where are u from? did that guy receive his notification through regular mail or e-mail?

Can anyone tell me- do acceptance letters come in a big envelope? Or do rejection letters come in a small envelope? My son will not let me open the mail and we are waiting to hear…

That guy got accepted ED Konspace
not RD
he’s just scared cause girl with great stats got rejected ED and a boy with like 1790 SAT and low gpa was accepted cause he didn’t apply for financial aid…

I am from Georgia. I do not know, internationals are probably contacted and notified via email, because international mail is pretty slow. But the envelope is also sent via the regular mail, I think. 1 day left…

I actually think that both international and domestic students receive their decision by mail… at least that’s what seems to have happened last year.

Yes but it will take at least 4-5 days for the mail to get to international destinations. That would be an evil game to play. I hope they also notify via email.

So they mail out the decisions on the 20th…I guess I’ll be expecting a letter/package on Thursday or Friday…hopefully lol

The portal says they have already finished reviewing apps so maybe they calculated it that way that we will actually be receiving them on 20th probably not, but still…

Hopefully tomorrow then!

Just got in good luck everyone big package!

Congratulations! I guess that means more people will find out tomorrow and Thursday, so excited!!!

Do you mind telling us what state you live in? Just so I know when to expect a letter!

Also would you mind telling us some of your stats? If not, it’s okay!

@carolineey

when did you receive an acceptance letter? I would’ve thought letters would be sent after the notification on the portal… is it a bad sign if we didn’t receive one today?

and, any idea what time they will post on the portal? Middlebury says they’re releasing their decisions at 8:00 in the morning, Saturday. Think Colgate will post early as well?

the office of admission said on facebook:
“Decisions will be released in a variety of ways depending on the actual decision and where a student lives. The vast majority of our applicants will be notified of their decision by mail.”
and also:
“Decisions will be released in a variety of manners this week, and we expect all students to receive their decision by the end of the month.”

So sorry, got hacked and someone I know said that as a joke! Still haven’t heard like everyone else. Sorry again everyone!!!
