Colgate, William and Mary, Whitman, Claremont Mckenna, Middlebury

I was accepted at Colgate, William and Mary, and Whitman. I was wait listed at Claremont Mckenna and Middlebury. I am very excited to be going to one of these schools next year and I wanted to get as many opinions as possible. I have been scouring all of the message boards and websites to get any extra information that I can. I am from South Dakota and so it will be difficult for me to spend as much time as I want at all of these colleges and I may not be able to go west coast at all. I realize the it is my decision and I have to go to the college that is right for me, but I applied to schools that I liked and I thought would fit me well. Any opinions or information are welcome.
Thanks

I currently go to Claremont McKenna but transferred here from William & Mary. It’s hard to really give you any advice without specific questions. All I can say is they are both great institutions. Feel free to post here or PM me with any specific questions.

W&M has better weather and is more intellectual, better sports programs, jokes about “women’s college”. Colgate has more snow, national power hockey program, more alcohol-centered, “toothpaste” jokes. Both high quality students and undergrad focused. Two very good schools. Congrats.

THEAjay89,
Why did you leave W&M? What did you not like about it?
