William & Mary or Colgate University?

Hey guys so I'm an international student from Hong Kong who is accepted at W&M and Colgate and I honestly don't know which to choose because i love both schools and they each have their merits... and of course demerits.

I am also accepted to several larger universities (UCLA, BU, UNC Chapel Hill etc) but I am personally geared towards a liberal arts education at a small college with an intimate setting. I'm planning to major in History & International Relations, which I know are strong suits of both universities, and to pursue some form of journalism after graduation. I've been receiving mixed opinions from friends and family about each school's academic reputation and international recognition (which is important, especially if I decide to work in HK after graduation) and since I can't visit in April, I'd like to hear everyone's thoughts on these two aspects. Which college do you think has a better reputation/ better courses?

I am also into musical theatre/ singing and would love to pursue it in college as my main EC - does anyone know how well either school caters to this, how involved the student body is regarding performing arts, and whether they have good facilities for them?

My parents are also worried about the tuition. Obviously Colgate is more expensive than W&M, and since I don't get financial aid as an international, my parents want a more "cost-effective" education for me. It's not that I can't afford Colgate, but there's the concern that if i can get a similar education at W&M then perhaps I should choose the latter? On a side note, although this shouldn't be a decisive factor for choosing a uni, Colgate is GORGEOUS and the amenities seem more modern than W&M's. Many have commented on the old and AC-lacking dorms (the ones not renovated yet)... hmm.

SORRY FOR ASKING SO MUCH, I don't have a lot of reference from where I reside, so I would greatly appreciate ANY help I can get! x

Colgate and W&M are equally prestigious.
