My son was accepted ED I at Bowdoin today - he fell in love with this school last summer and it was his absolute # one choice. The whole family is at home today due to a snow storm --- what a celebration!!

<p>DD got her second college acceptance today...to Santa Clara University. She is thrilled...Now she has only U of San Diego to wait for and she should hear from them by the end of January.</p>
<p>Thumper-Congratulations!! I know how excited your D is about Santa Clara!! I was just waiting to see you post when I saw EA decisions came out! Everbody in your household must be so happy!!!!</p>
<p>Doesn't it feel great when the #1 school comes through? And I bet she'll have three schools to choose from. S has many friends at Santa Clara, and his best friend's sister is a freshman at University of San Diego. Great schools.</p>

Don't even know where to start -- I had to be away from the computer for awhile for a business trip (well, I was able to sneak a peek every now and then but couldn't do it for long) and now there are FAR too many great posts and I can't comment on all of them individually. Bowdoin is a wonderful place - we drove out to land's end at sunset when we were there - it was just glorious. Wave at JL Chamberlain for me when you go up for the start of classes. </p>
