College admission for recent immigrant

I have a really weird question here, but I could not find answer for this for a while. I came from south korea starting in 8th grade, so by the time i apply to college, it will be my 4th year. Fortunately, I have american citizenship cuz i born in New York. When I apply to college, do i have a small benefit from college admission people? Do college admission people consider that English is my second language when I apply to school? I also took 6 AP classes until junior year, and SAT score will be 2300. Also, I’m taking ap spanish too. I was wondering is my background going to help my admission little bit. Thank you

Why do you need a concession if you have a strong course load and high SAT scores? Basically you are what you are, there is nothing to change so I don’t really understand what you would do with this information. We don’t even know where you are applying. All admissions committees at selective colleges will be looking at a pool of strong applicants who bring there own personal qualities and story. No one here can tell you what the admissions will make of it for you. It may be impressive but it also maybe be more common than you think. Just proceed as you would either way.

I’m curious, how do you know your “SAT score will be 2300?” I urge you to stop looking for admissions shortcuts and to EARN acceptance to you target institution(s) through plain hard work and tangible achievements.
