<p>So, when applying to CMU (or, well, any other college for the matter), obviously you have to write an essay. cmu says, like others, 250-500 words. i just wrote mine revised it, yada yada, and i'm done. except my essay came out to be 507 words..WHAT DO I DO! i mean, it's perfect the way it is, or it's decent at least i'll say, but are they going to flip when they see 7 extra words? surely they wont be like "oh no1 he's an idiot! must throw away application," but is it taht big of a deal?</p>
<p>lol I think mine was over 1000, then I reduced it to 700, then I think around 550</p>
