College Board College E-mails?

<p>I know this doesn't exactly fit in the "SAT prep" section, but I couldn't find a better section to post this question. I thought, after all, SAT is hosted by CollegeBoard, so my question would have the best chance of being answered here.</p>

<p>I've been getting a lot of college e-mails from colleges lately... a lot from which I would prefer not to receive e-mail from. I removed myself from some of them by pressing "opt out" or "click HERE to unsubscribe.''</p>

<p>This will NOT remove me from other college mailing lists that I did not opt out of right?</p>

<p>That sounds correct. Just going by common sense I would say removing yourself from the email list of one college should have no impact on whether a different college sends you email. If you marked it as spam though, that perhaps could have an effect (though I doubt it). Anyhow, unless I am misunderstanding your question, I don’t think there is anything to worry about.</p>
