I got a mail from College Board saying that they're considering cancelling my AP gov&politics exam because I ripped out two pages from my test booklet based on a report.

I ripped out one page because I realized that I didn't like what I wrote at all on the entire page. Instead of crossing it out, in the heat of the moment, I just ripped it out and crumpled, it up to throw it away later. The second page just fell out later (maybe because of the first one that i ripped out), and it was completely blank. I didn't have any intentions to take it out of the room, or anything of that sort.

How can I explain so that they won't cancel my scores? I'd prefer not to re-take it, but I will if I really have to.
