Should she cancel AP Government score?

D was a junior IB student. Just took the Government AP test, but didn't study much. She didn't even write one of the essays and thinks she got a 2.

Today is the last day to cancel. Should she? She is more of a science type and won't be majoring in political science or history.

bump, bump

That's a toughie. How does she feel she did on the multiple choice?

i don't get it. why would she cancel? i mean, wouldn't you just not send the score to colleges if she did badly?

my friend took AP physics and got a 1 w/o taking the class. h

Well, she did take the class, but got a B in it (very long story).

She thinks she did poorly on everything, but she thinks that about most of the work she does (has a great gpa anyway, but go figure!).

Would she be happy with a 3? because I think just answering the MC could result in a 3 (although unlikely - Gov't has one of the lowest mean grades). If she wants a 4 or 5, I would cancel since Free Response section counts for half of the final grade.

You guys paid the $82 to take the test. Why not see what she got? Usually, it's better than what you expected. I wouldn't cancel AP scores since they're not considered in college admissions.
