College Board Issue

So I took an SAT Subject Test in 8th grade and didn't do very well on it, but was told that the score would be "erased" since I wasn't in high school. A few months later, this score showed up on Naviance (an external site my school uses that keeps track of test scores, volunteer hours, college app status, etc.), but I called the CB and was told that the score was in fact deleted.

This is when I do the most ridiculous thing out of desperation. I make a new CB account, and change all the information on my old account, including gender, which can only be changed once. The score is still showing up on Naviance to this day. I found out that you can only have one CB account AFTER I created the new one.

Basically, I have no idea what to do. I'm in pretty deep mud. I kept pushing off dealing with this, but now I can't, with PSATs coming up. Should I just ignore my old account and use my new one? Should I call the CB and tell them my story? (Kind of embarassing...I'd really rather not.) Any insight would be appreciated!

call thema nd own up to it

Call them up…also, I think your test score shows up on Naviance, but it actually can’t be seen by colleges. Naviance just keeps track of the tests you’ve taken, but once the score has been deleted, all it shows is that you took it…

So if my new scores don’t show up on Naviance, it doesn’t matter?

I don’t think so. I recommend talking to your school counselor about this because they would know about the College Board better. What happens when you click on your score? If nothing shows up, I think it means that the College Board deleted your score.
