I got a call from a woman who said she was part of the College Board and she knew my full name, and she offered free phone or video-chat college counseling services to me and asked for my e-mail to send over information in the next couple of weeks to set up an appointment. I ended up giving it, but I was wondering if this is an actual service they give to disadvantaged students, and if anyone received a similar call?
