College Board "Matriculate" Program real or a scam?

Hi all. I just got a phone call from a girl who said she was from the college board. She called me to ask if I wanted to join a program called “Matriculate” for high-achieveing students to get free help in the college admissions process. She already knew my name and the state I am from, but she asked for my email. The connection was a bit sketchy, but I figured giving her just my email couldn’t really hurt.

Do you guys think that this is a scam? I tried googling it and didn’t find anything.

This is a scam. From the CollgeBoard’s website… .
“The College Board does not make unsolicited phone calls to students or families requesting this type of information. Representatives of the College Board only make calls to students and their families in response to student-generated inquiries and/or to provide students and families with information about a test or program for which the student registered.”
