Has anyone gone to visit the campus that is out of state? I live in California, and flying out to the other side of the country is a bit much for me just to see the campus, but I feel like I need to before making the decision to attend UMass. Are there any scholarships out there for just helping me get out to see the school? I know I can take an online tour, but online can’t really beat seeing the campus in person.
I don’t think I know of any school who has scholarships like that. lol Anyway, UMass has an interesting campus that is a big mix of old and new. All I can say is that considering they are a state campus that was underfunded for fifty years they have improved vastly in the past ten. New buildings are everywhere and one of the biggest complaints on campus is that they are always building something… (Construction etc…) The campus itself comes out as beautiful during warm sunny days and during the night time when you drive into it it look like a city with all the 250 foot+ buildings that are on campus, especially the library. Lastly that’s the best I can do with a quick description, I’m sorry I can’t do more, let me know if you have any questions.
