<p>I have three of my textbooks so far. The $80 one I got came with a note inside that said “Thank You :)”. I burst out laughing. I could tell when I bought it that I was buying it from a student selling her books. Didn’t expect the book to be shipped in polka-dotted paper.</p>
<p>That epic moment when you create a list of 20+ items for college out of the back of your head with no assist while riding in a car for food.</p>
<p>I just realized I don’t know whether I should take my dreamcatcher or not…I forget about it because it’s been in the same spot in my room for longer than I can remember…I mean, I’m not superstitious about these things but I kinda wanna take it now that I realize it’s there…</p>

<p>Because I don’t have a tablet or e-reader and I’d never use the book that way either. Also, we’ve been told some of the professors really hate laptops and tablets in class.</p>
<p>Some of the professors are old school obviously. And jade, I recommend trying out tablet/ereader. It save paper and reduce the risk of losing or having it stolen.</p>
<p>Well then I guess not for you and most people. But if I were attending college all my books would on my nexus kindle laptop and cloud rather than my bookbag</p>
<p>@kyp unfortunately that’s just not possible. Not ALL books are available on handhelds. And some classes may require you get a specific book from the school.</p>

I am hoping to get books on my kindle fire HD (after I upgrade from kindle fire.)</p>

<p>In high school I hated when I had to carry two extremely large books all day. </p>
<p>But now in college when I have two classes on two days back to back, I don’t mind it. I’d have one book with me at most and bringing a book to class is not even everyday. </p>
<p>I don’t prefer digital texts.</p>
<p>I still prefer printing out a paper and reading it as opposed to reading it over on the computer. But I read a couple of books on the kindle fire and it was like easier on the eyes.</p>
