Is it that controversial?

mmm… not really. but CC’s pretty liberal, and I don’t want to get flamed

See, you said it yourself. It’s not controversial. If anything you are providing another perspective for CC to ponder on.

I said it’s not that controversial. but it’s still controversial

but I’ve lost interest so nevermind xD

lol nah i once got a question removed by a mod for nonsense -_-

I knew it was a risky question but I dont think i was thinking right that day!

Sent from my C5155 using CC

I’ll post it. >:]

Someone’s just looking for trouble.

Who’s looking for trouble?

Taylor Swift?

Taylor doesn’t look for trouble. She just has bad taste in guys. Probably in part due to the fact she always picks high profile ones.

Hmm sorry for my unfortunate delay. I’ll post something later today.

lol, you can’t post it if you don’t know what it is Niquii :D

good rule of thumb: if you’re thinking of putting something on the Internet that you have doubts about, sleep on it first

Hi,

I have an idea for a meaningful discussion

What are three questions you would find annoying to hear from fellow freshmen during orientation/first week of classes? This way we can learn what not to ask each other xD

OK so I will start:

What were your SAT/IB scores?

Reason: We know almost nothing about each other and one of first things you want to know about me is what were my SAT/IB scores? Really?

More fitting question: Is it your Russian accent why I can’t understand you or the fact that you are so boring?

Hi, I am Socrates. Will we become friends? Please!

Reason: Sure knowing your first name is enough to build a solid relationship isn’t it?

More fitting question: Hi, I am Mark. I won’t pronounce your full name even if my life depended on it, can you ask your parents for another name?

Can I use your towel? I can’t find mine.

Reason: Yes but do not forget to lend it also your roommate/neighbor who has the same problem. If I was asleep when you finish using it then just put it on the floor, that way it will be easy to find in the morning.

More fitting question: Can I look into your ear?

People I barely knew asked me all those 3 questions and it would be nice to avoid them this fall ;)

Someone asked me what my grades were and the like. It put me on the spot and I knew once I said them people would look at me differently. I just played it off and said, “Those don’t matter anymore. It’s college. It’s a clean slate.”

It was funny because in the CoE meetup some guys were comaining abou how they didn’t get into UF. I just kept my mouth shut and sympathized for them. ;)

Tips for Not Being That Guy at Orientation
- Don’t bring up stats. Especially if you don’t even know them.
- Don’t complain about your first choice college and how you didn’t get accepted or weren’t able to go.
- Don’t talk too much.
- Don’t be a goody two shoes. Break the rules a little.
- Do be friendly.
- Do be genuinely interested in conversations.
- Do feel free to share your experiences.
- Do give 100% in having a good time.

Wow never been asked those questions. When people ask me question it’s usually about How exactly do you pronounce my name and the other is about my hearing aids. After it’s like instant buddies (no microwave included).

if I follow all the other rules, this shouldn’t matter that much right? :o

Woah. Woah. Woah.

The microwave isn’t included?

…Descuff.

This friendship isn’t going to work out. I had the EasyMac ready and everything.

@stressed No. You must follow this rule.

but I don’t break rules and I honestly can’t think of any rules to break that won’t land me in jail o_0

Yes don’t talk too much! When you think you have nothing more to say in this conversation then you are right. Silence is fine.

If you can’t break the rules, bend them. That’s what I do.

@Niquii: you can use my microwave anytime. But there is a fee.
