What happened to it? I thought it was a great list. Now it’s no longer part of the site.
It was always controversial. There were some schools that should have been on it that weren’t and others that were on it that shouldn’t have been.

A little controversy isn’t so bad. It drives up user engagement. I thought the list got it right, though it wasn’t perfect. Definitely created a dialogue on the site.
Make your own list and post in the Parent Forum. I guarantee it will spark a conversation.

I’m not convinced that extensive, contentious discussion on what colleges should be on a list of “elite” colleges in a section of the website is valuable discussion to be had on CC.
