Question/opinion. If a college is not interested in an applicant, would they cross all the t’s and dot all the i’s on their CSS profile application so close to decision time?
@Eoghansmom Good question. We got an e-mail from WashU’s financial aid office at the end of January asking a very specific question about the CSS profile and our son had not been admitted (yet). I took that as a hopeful sign and sure enough he was admitted yesterday. No money offered, but still admitted!
Congratulations to your son! This is for NYU’s Tandon School of Engineering, decisions will be released April 1st. They contacted us regarding the above and also reached out a little over a week ago and asked if my son was still interested in NYU and to make sure he wasn’t contractually bound to another university by way of Early Decision. hmmmmmm… these sound like good signs.
My daughter got a letter from NYU Tisch last week, making sure she was not attached to another University through ED. Also got a request for FA clarification two weeks ago from Fordham, and she was accepted yesterday.
