It’s my first semester at my school currently, and i was going to start my college classes next semester. I’m currently a Junior and my classes are going well. I was wondering if doing my college classes next semester stress me out? I was planning to just take my GEs or some pre reqs. Let me know what you guys or girls think about this. Thanks
I did it myself, great experience. As for what to take depends on your local college and where you plan on going. If you plan on going to a Top 30/40 school that has notorious weed-out classes, it can be a great way to get those out of the way.
I’m currently a dual enrollment student and it is a great experience. It shows that you can do work on the college level and the college admissions representatives I’ve talked to all hold dual enrollment credits to a pretty good standard. It’s great to get the annoying general ed classes so you can go straight into your major. I know people who have entered college as college sophomores and juniors because of taking college classes during high schools. I’d recommend it if you can handle it.
