I'm not sure if any of you know about it, but there are certain high schools/colleges/universities that offer a dual program that let you take college classes for both hs and college credit.

If anyone has ever attended these programs, I'd like to know
1) would you recommend it?
2) Is it a good thing to do for senior year?
3) Does it really save you that much money?

I plan to take classes that are required to graduate from any college, and then focusing more on my major during actual college time. I personally want someone with experience with similar programs as these to tell me if it helped them the least bit.

my school offers dual enrollment classes and I’ve taken about 6 of them. I would say that it was worth. What state are you in because if you are applying to out of state schools, the colleges might not accept the credits.

^Yeah, make sure you think about what colleges you are applying to. If you’re planning to apply to schools that don’t accept credit, then I guess I’d stick to taking APs

I have 5 (soon 6) semesters from Dual credit.

I’m confused…

I have a transcript from JTCC (community college) and it has comp 101 and 102. Wouldn’t you think many (OOS) schools would accept that? W/e I don’t even know if I want to use my credits from Dual Enrollment.

2/3 of my DE’s are jokes by the way. Easy A’s. Biology, Anatomy, and Comp are the “hard” ones at my school.
