Hi, I’m a freshman in high school and recently took the psat. After the scores were released, I got like 2 emails from colleges but the one that caught my eye was Rice University. I know that some college emails from top universities are bullshit, but I’m curious as to why I got one so early into my high school career.
You probably marked that you are willing to receive info from colleges (or didn’t opt out of it). You will get a flood of emails, etc. Likely their computer program that generated the email from the list of people who took the PSAT didn’t distinguish by grade. They mean NOTHING. Think of them as “marketing spam”.
