Hello
I am a sophomore in highschool and I got emails from diffrent colleges such as USF and UCF through The College Board Student Services and I was wondering if this means i am a good student and they want me to apply or do the just send that to everyone that is subscribed to the service?
After you take standardized tests, colleges can buy a list of contact information of people who got in a certain score range. Then they send you stuff. Think of it as junk mail. Many times, they want more people to apply, lowering their acceptance rate, which increases their rankings.
Read absolutely nothing into this. The colleges are doing marketing; that is all. They are not reaching out to you - Colina1234- specifically.
