<p>I wrote a college essay for school in the traditional 5 paragraph, intro-3 bodies-conclusion format, but i decided to delete one of the body paragraphs because i thought it made the paper too long.
Are there any specific requirements for a college essay?
If i only have an intro, 2 body paragraphs, and a conclusion will it negatively affect my chances at admission? or does it not matter
Also, how long is a normal college essay? mine is two pages right now, in MLA format.</p>
<p>I don’t know much, as I am a junior right now in HS, but I’m pretty sure you should avoid the 5 paragraph essay. It’s generic. Just make sure it flows well. </p>
<p>As long as you have the word requirement, it should not matter how many paragraphs there are.</p>
