College essay on anxiety?

I've read a opinions on choosing this topic and I still can't come to consensus if it is alright of just awful.

It isn't going to be very intense; I'm not mentioning medication, therapy, and I refuse to say diagnosed in my essay- I don't want it to sound like I'm just writing my essay on a mental disorder. It starts off with a funny little anecdote about an example of anxiety I exhibited when I was seven and that idea is tied throughout the essay- that it is ironic I didn't recognize I had anxiety while all of the obvious signs were there (I would obviously say that more eloquently and not so spelled out). I'm trying to really get my personality and writing style across, and this topic would really allow me to express that.

I just wanted to see if anyone thinks it is an absolute no or has any advice. Thanks!
