<p>Hello everyone!
I was wondering if anyone could tell me about college life in US. Recently i recieved an acceptence letter from one very good school in NYC and I am so thinking of going there next year.
Ofcourse it is a bit scary for me going and living in another country i have never been at, plus I will be going to co-ed school which is completly new to me aswell.
Well as you can guess im an international student, my nationality is russian and I have lived in Germany/Switzerland for quite a long time, however I have also studied in UK, well i study there at the moment, I am at boarding girls school.
However I really do hope that I can find lots of friends in that college i have been accepted at. Because now I dont have any close friends at all, not where I live or in England.
I hope I can get used to living in a huge city, because I have always lived in small towns. I somehow dont know if i can do it all on my own, however I did travel from a young age all by myself, and do have some experience.
So please if anyone has any advice for me, about how to be or act and how i can find lots of friends, I would be very thankful! I am also interested to hear about your experience in colleges and if you like it or not and how its been so far!!! If its a huge difference or not from life you used to have before college!
I can always give advice about UK schools if someone is interested!
Thank you!!!
