I'm currently an oncoming senior in high school and i'm really worried about financial aid in college.
My parents and i have been in the US for a while now, but we have yet to receive our green card. However, we're approved in the application process, so at some point we're guaranteed to get it, but we haven't received it yet.
does anybody know how this will play out in financial aid in college? do i count as an international student or a permanent citizen?
I've lived in the US longer than I've lived in China (i came when i was four); does that help me?

Until you have a green card, you will be considered international.
