You have to give me credit for getting the Nebraska score right...

Oh crap, I was probably too drunk last night to realize that one. :eek:

Nebraska/USC was a very boring game...

[/quote]

If you want boring, you should have also seen the scoreless second half of the Cal/Portland State game...blazing sun included.

How about LSU/Auburn? Now that's REALLY boring!

How in the hell could I forget to mention that - then again, it was a classic SEC showdown.

this game showed NOTHING about either USC or Nebraska, except for the fact that Dwayne Jarrett is a pretty damn good. That's it. Nothing more, nothing about USC's defense or offense, nothing about Nebraska being back on the National stage, NOTHING. Well Nothing and that Nebraska is better than Arkansas (but everyone knew that when the 'hogs only beat vandy by 2)

USC certainly didn't dominate, and certainly fell well short of the blow out that everyone thought. If Nebraska would have just come out throwing the ball all over the place in the 2nd half, this could have been the best game of the day instead of the worst. The score really obscures how close the game was.

of course USC dominated. They held one of the best scoring offenses in the nation to 3 points in the 1st half, and 10 points overall. Like the commentator said, by halftime, the nebraska punter had more yards passing than their QB. :)

What it showed, was that nebraska saw the 5 turnovers against arkansas, and they were afraid to throw the ball because it would be picked too easy. So they played it safe and that prevented usc from winning a blowout.

The usc defense is much stronger than they were last year, and people should expect that they're going to play a much bigger role in winning than before.

And Minnesota beat Temple 62-0, but what's interesting here is that this is the second straight week Temple has been shutout by 62 points.

Yeah dude. We're pretty much the worst team in college football history. It's kinda kool. I love going to the games cuz I have the best seats in the Linc. At least I watch them in comfort :) In the past few years i've seen Fitzgerald, Marcus Vick and Kevin Jones against Temple :P

i'm sorry, but USC--by defense alone--is the best team in the Pac-10, and I'm afraid that they are easily a top 2 team in the country once again... i will state that here and let the season prove it. USC has sick talent, and most college coaches are envious of Pete Carroll for that.

I dont think Nebraska has one of the top offenses in the nation, even before the USC game. But USC is still nice. Thats what being back to back NCAA champions gets ya....top recruiting for a couple of years.

UF = SEC Champs! Mark it down

Michigan = Really Good

DAMN when the hell will we break 50?! :eek:
