What next, are they going to accuse Michigan of having the biggest stadium or the most wins or the largest attendance or maybe being the most televised team? Wait, we are already guilty of all those too!

It really isn't fair, being a Wolverine. We are the target of so much envy! hehe!!!

Plus the Michigan game would have been a route if the recievers had caught any of Henne's passes. Breaston (as much as I like him as a player) basically had a negligible impact on the game and we still won by 20. By week 3 this is going to be a scary team.

What a difference a healthy Mike Hart makes, huh?

The run defense was amazing and the running was amazing. I think all that needs to be worked on is the passing aspects on both sides of the ball. I think the pass defense will shore itself up and as for the passing lets just hope the ball dropping epidemic doesn't keep up.

Generally speaking, the coaches keep things very simple and generic in opening games. There are several reasons for that, but the main two are:

1) They want to give the team time to warm up because teams are error-prone when then haven't played in 8 months. Once the players get warmed up and the team gets used to playing again, the coaches will open things up.

2) Coaches want to keep future oponents in the dark. By not showing any new wrinkles, teams like Notre Dame can study Michigan videos all they want and they still won't know what to expect.

I agree with what Alexandre says.....the pass defense will also look better once English unleashes the blitz plackage....CMU will see even less complexity than Vandy

Agreed with the above. I really feel that both new coordinators have great stuff up their sleeves. I remember the commentators saying something how the new offensive coord. told them that they spent months revamping their offense and studying new ones.

I just hope Notre Dame keeps winning AS WELL AS MSU (I have a point!! I promise lol). That way when we beat them we will GREATLY benefit in the rankings. While I could say the same for OSU...I hope they suffer miserable and heart-wrenching losses.
