Hi, I am a current student in NY who needs a lot of help figuring out what colleges are best for me/where I can get into. I have a 91.9 GPA but weighted it is a 100.04. I know it is low for the colleges I want to goto, but I have taken the most rigorous schedule at my school with 10 AP’s and 5 CL courses. (AP’s Included: European History, Biology, Physics 1, Physics 2, Literature, US History, Spanish, US Government, Language & Composition, Calculus BC). My highest ACT composite is currently a 30, and my highest super score would be a 32, however in two days I will be finding out my newest score from the ACT I took two weeks ago. I am taking SAT II subject tests in October, but I already have a Math II 700. II have been dancing since I was 2, and by the age of 6, I was competitive dance company dancer. I am in the studio everyday and study ballet, lyrical, jazz, tap, contemporary and hip-hop. I am the caption of the senior dance company at my studio. Currently, I hold the Miss Senior Dance Title and am ranked one of the top tap dancers in the country for her age. I have also participated in Dance for a Cause and won $1500 for the charity of my choice the “Pay a Forward Foundation. I am an active member of the community service club Club where I have participated in the Clean up Beach Debris pickup, Breast Cancer Walks, Holiday Food Drives in front of the local supermarket. As the Vice-president of International Outreach club, I have sold bracelets, participates in bake sales, and donated my time to help out the HUGS foundation but also people in third world countries. I have donated money raised to Doctors without Borders, and have raised enough money to buy a goat and chickens for a family in a 3rd world countries. In Spanish Club, I have donated pajamas, prom dresses, and had bake sales along with other events to raise revenue to give to outstanding charities. In my High School Class club, I was actively involved with students in her grade where we have made the homecoming floats, ran spirit night, and designed and created our Junior Prom. In Art Honor Society, I have worked hard making crafts and doing other activities that are sold in many craft fairs, and displayed at the Art Festival. In this club, I have volunteered at a 4th annual Dog Walk and Park Fair where I painted faces and tattooed. As Vice-president of the Fashion Club, I have organized activities and motivated students to join the club. For the past four summers, I have worked as an intern at the trendy accessory internet site where I did product promotion and brand awareness on social media, helping with buying, answering phones, assisting the photographer and putting products on the website. At times, I actually wrote the site’s fashion blog that spoke about the upcoming trends of the season. I have recieved a Science Honor Society Award, AP Scholar Award, National Honor Society award & also a position on the executive board, and a Foreign Language Honor Society Award. My preferences of schools are: Vanderbilt, Emory, UMiami, Wakeforest, UNC, UMichigan, and others. I really really liked Vanderbilt but am unsure of my chances and was maybe going to ED for a better shot. My religious affiliation is Jewish…Help please
