College Honors Programs

I have a few questions regarding how honors classes and admission works:
1) Do you apply for honors(i'm an incoming freshman)?
2) If you apply for honors and are rejected do you still get to become a regular student or do you not get into the university at all?
3) Are honors classes that much more difficult?

Widener University
Seton Hall University
Rowan University

Normally, you would have to apply to the university first and once your accepted THEN start your honors programs apps. It may be different for some colleges, so maybe just call the college your looking into and ask or even send an e-mail.

I mean, it really depends on the college. Go to their website and do some research. Like saballance said, for some you apply to both the college and the honors program directly and for others you apply to honors after…
