College Junior--How Employable Am I?

At the end of this semester, I will technically be a Junior (a semester early). Since I am now half way through undergrad, I want to make sure that I am not only on the right track, but also not ignoring something that could be crucial for my future success.

So far, I have...

GPA: 3.8/4.0
Majors: Sociology/Anthropology and Psychology (Statistical Analysis & Research Methods emphasis track)
Minor: English
CLA+ Critical Thinking Test: In 99th percentile
Internship: Specific part of the gov for about 4 years
Involvement: Treasurer & Event Coordinator of 2 different clubs; member of a prestigious faculty committee on academic policy

I'm also planning to spend one semester studying off campus in 2015. The program I am looking at offers an internship in labor relations while offering classes that will earn me a Certificate in Labor Relations.

What I would like to do in the future: Be employed with the gov possibly in the department of labor relations? Go to grad school for a doctorate in sociology and specialize in work organizations and teach/do research? I am not positive yet.

Any feedback on what I need to improve on/add to my skill set?

Thanks for reading this!

You should be able to get interviews pretty easy because of your stats and ECs, but it’s all about how you can perform at the interview/job.

@sagacioustud , Who recruits your majors at your school’s career fairs? What jobs for labor relations does your internship have? Ask to meet someone in HR for short friendly chat for advice.

Internships are a lot easier to get than jobs because the employers don’t have to pay anything for interns. You should probably check out your career center and find out how previous students did on their hunts for jobs.
