Do you think I have a chance on getting a job once I graduate?

I have been stressing about my future after I graduate. Im going to be a Senior in a Top 45 Business School. My problem is that this summer I didnt get an internship, the only work experience I have is retail and office work as an office assistant. I currently have a 3.3 GPA. I want honesty and opinions, can this affect me in getting a job with at least regional firms? I realize that I need to work on the GPA and plan to do so but do you have any helpful suggestions? I would appreciate this very much. Any input or advice, and honesty is greatly recieved. Thank you.

Knowing your major might help.

My major is in Accounting.

what school do you go to?

If you recruit/network at your school, you can probably manage something. May not be the ideal or the best, but you should be employed.

reach out to your school’s career center and network. let them know your situation and they will advise you and help you send out some resumes. Ultimately it will be your responsibility to apply to jobs and send out resumes and cover letters to employers. Experience is important but recruiters want to see that you will be an asset for the company. explain what you do not know because of your lack of experience but then sell yourself and what you do know and can do for the firm/company.
