I am a freshmen in CC right now and next year I will be attending UMD College Park. People always say "college life" is not the same if you are a transfer so I wanted to know how it is as a sophomore transfer. One important thing to know is I will be the same age as the incoming freshmen in UMD CP. This is because I graduated HS a year early (at the end of Junior year) and went to a CC. So most people my age are Seniors in HS right now. So my question is would my experience be closer to that of an incoming freshmen (when you meet everyone) or of that of a transfer student?

bumppppppppppp

I think it will be close, especially if you live in the freshman dorms

I you really want the college experience, just live in the residence halls freshman year. It seems like you will be the same age so that will make it even easier. Just because you are a sophomore credit-wise or degree-wise doesn’t mean you won’t get the college experience. As long as you are the same age as your peers, you won’t have a problem making connections and enjoying college.
