if you are a Q. student, can you share what student life is like - specifically, how friendly are students? how easy is it to make friends in classes?
is there a sense of cohesion or community among students?
are there activities on campus that helps with this?
do kids participate in social justice groups? musical or theater groups?
it's easier to get a feel for academics than this aspect of college, and
this part is just as important.
thanks in advance!

I will be a sophomore in the fall and I love QU. Its a great place to be, especially for academics. They have pretty small class sizes and great resources for students if you're falling behind in classes or just need extra help. As far as extracurriculars and activities, QU has student-run clubs called SPB (Student Programming Board) and QUAD (QU After Dark) which put on activities etc, every weekend from 8-1 if you don't want to go off campus. If you do, there is a shuttle that brings you into town, as well as into New Haven, which is the next town over. That is where the nightlife is. The shuttle is free for everyone and runs pretty frequently.

There are over 70 clubs and organizations on campus. Many of which ARE social justice clubs. If there is anything that QU doesn't have (in regards to clubs, etc) you are welcome to start it, as long as you have at least 5 participating members.
