I am a rising senior who was originally going to study international relations, but I decided not to based on the job markets. I am really into travelling, other cultures, and how the world works in general (for example, I read The Economist and I know capitals of all countries). I plan to do my entire degree overseas and get a job at multinational companies or international organizations. I went overseas by myself for the first time this summer and enjoyed it. Based on job opportunities abroad, I am going to study computer science or engineering.
Since I won’t be able to take AP Calculus in high school (taking precalculus this year), I would have to do a foundation year before entering a degree.
Here are my stats:
GPA: 3.6
SAT: 1310 (got a 1380 on a new practice, retaking on August 25)
SAT Subject Tests: 720 US History, taking Math 1 in the fall
AP Exams: 5 Psych, 4 US History
Senior classes: Computer science, AP Gov, AP Econ, Honors precalculus, English, geosystems
