Hello, I'm a rising senior and I'm pretty sure I want to major in Information Systems or Management Information Systems. This major goes by a lot of names, so schools might have a similar major that goes by a completely different name. I'm looking for a technology related major under business college/department.

I live in the Midwest (Ohio) and would prefer to stay in the Midwest for college. I am willing to look into Eastern schools though. However, I do not want to go west or south.

I've read most of the threads relating to colleges with good MIS programs, but I was hoping people could suggest some different options. The school does not have to have an amazing MIS program, but I want them to at least be decent at it (obviously). I'd also like the schools to have some decent merit scholarships.

The schools I'm currently looking at are:
- Notre Dame
- University of Cincinnati
- St. Louis University
- Boston University
- Northeastern University
(I like Boston if you couldn't tell)

Quick overview of my stats:
- PSAT: 223 (most likely will be a finalist for my state)
- SAT: 2270/1550 (CR: 790, M: 760, W: 720)
- ACT: just took it, probably got around a 33
- 4.0 uw gpa, 4.5 weighted
- by end of senior year I'll have taken 7 APs
- leadership in clubs and community service
- dance team member and officer

I'm not going to go into any more depth because this isn't a chance me thread, I just thought some stats would be helpful.

Oh, and I'll just throw this out there before someone suggests these schools: I'm not interested in Carnegie Mellon or MIT.

Any suggestions?

Thank you in advance!!
