The only requirement I can find in the College of Chemistry's announcement about the 15-Unit Breadth Requirement is that the Humanities and Social Sciences classes cannot come from the same department. If I place out of the Reading and Composition classes from my IB English HL test, do I still need to take a Reading and Composition class to fulfill the Breadth Requirement? Or can I just get the units I need from Group II classes.

I know that I can't use credit from tests to fulfill the Breadth Requirement, but it could still be useful if I can eliminate the Reading and Composition portion of the requirement.

Thanks.
