Does anybody know how good the college of communications school is? Do a lot of internship opportunities come to psu for communications? I have this weird perception that in order to get a job in comm you have to be in a city, but I really want to go to psu so I'm wondering how good the communications school is. Anyone know anything about it?

i wanted to know the same thing. i got accepted into the college of communications because i knew the smeal business school was really hard to get into.

all i know is that penn state has amazing job placement bc theres so many alumni and stuff.. i saw it on princeton review.

the school newspaper is very, very good. and from what i saw when i visited & from looking at the website, there are a lot of good internship opportunities. plus, their job placement is fantastic. i don't know what kind of communications you're into, but they even have this cool washington dc program.

i went up there to take a look at the program over the summer. i was really impressed and they definitely have internships and job opportunities available. it was a really great program from what i could see
