College of Engineering Supplementals?

What am I suppose to fill out for the Highest level taken?

I’m so confused. How is everyone else filling out this information

From the Facebook page;

“Cal Poly Pomona College of Engineering If you have technical questions about submitting your Supplemental Application, please call the College of Engineering at 909.869.2600 and we will be happy to help.”

A few other answers there as well.

Shrinkrap, bl0wnidea, koreankd1, et al. What are you applying for? Stats?

Well I am going for Chemical Engineering. I would put my stats, but I am very embarrassed. The chances of me getting in is low, but I still would like to try.

P.S: I submitted the supp application

^Well, that’s the spirit.

My chances of getting into Berkeley are also very, very slim but I had to give it a shot, what the heck! I wish you luck.

Ummm… I’m a parent… (hangs head)…

Civil Engineering.

So has anyone been able to fill out the supplemental? It has boxes that say Algebra, Geometry, English… etc and says Highest Level Taken and Course Number?

So let’s say Algebra. The highest I took is Algebra 2 then I fill that out? Right now I’m taking AP Calculus AB so what do I fill out?

I tried calling them, no response. Someone please help me out here.

Thats what I did. In the blank for algebra for highest level taken, I put Algebra 2. Keep calling them and they will answer.

Ok. It says Highest Level Physics. If I’m currently taking AP Physics B do I put that? I’m not sure if I do because semester one is not over and I have not received a grade yet.

And what about Trigonometry? I never took a math course only dedicated to Trig. It was taught in Pre Calculus but it was never itself an individual course.

Sorry I took so long.

But I would guess you Put AP Physics B and check the AP on the right. The lady on the phone when I called said that if you did not finish the semester yet, you should put the grade that you most likely got.

And for trig, I am guessing that since you did not take the trig course, you do not put anything. Even though some is taught in pre cal, you still did not take trig.

For my son, I put " ‘A’, in prog " for the classes he’s currently taking.

There really wasn’t much to the supplemental… like 10 questions.

And for the kids in California High Schools… all the courses have numbers… not a real mystery there. Just plug them in. Kids need to get an official HS transcript… I’m sure they list the course numbers, no matter what State they reside in.

Thanks for the help. Application submitted :)
