Hi I've been accepted into Holy Cross for the class of 2015. Can anyone share any positive or negative information about the montserrat program. What clusters are the most interesting, if you enjoyed the cluster you picked, and did you become good friends with people in your cluster? Thank You :) any information is much appreciated

Only a Mom, but my daughter loved her Global Montserrat but it is an individual thing. She had fun but said although she did work with her fellow Global classmates and liked them, she knew some other students better just because they were in other classes as well. Just make sure to get the choices in on time, some procrastinated and then didn’t like what they were put in. They give you a lot of choices and then narrow it down by the amount of students desiring each one.

Hi There,
I graduated from HC. Just so you know, it doens’t matter when you get your choices in (as long as it’s not past the deadline). All of the students are essentially randomly assigned based on your choices. So you’re guaranteed one of your choices, just not necessarily your top choice.

As for which one you choose, I would recommend looking at something you may not otherwise have thought to take. I was part of the First Year Program (the precursor to Montserrat) and took one of the year long science courses and I’m not a science person. It was one of the best courses.

Hope that helps!

Thanks definitely very helpful. Any suggestions on what clusters are the most enjoyable. I assume that they are all, but I just want some more insight
