Does anyone know where I could find the college rankings for 10 to 15 years ago?

Thank you so much, GB.

Does anyone have the Undergrad rankings?

It's kinda wierd how high Berkeley ranked themselves, are thier graduate schools still ranked this high?

Those aren't rankings published by Berkeley...they just happened to be hosted on the Berkeley website with some selective bolding...

i dont have undergrad rankings from 10-15 years ago, but i DO have rankings from 2000 (my 8th grade english teacher gave us the usnwr rankings hoping we'd strive for one of those colleges as we turned toward high school haha)

This doesn't exactly answer the question, but it may clarify things a bit http://www.hsc.edu/news/archive/usnews.html

Thanks. Anyone else from 10-15 years ago?

Does anyone have updated rankins for PhD education? I've been looking for something just like what is listed...by popular PhDs but haven't been able to find one nearly as awesome as the one listed.

Anyone else with rankings from 10-15 years ago?

Check out the Wayback machine. Found the 1997 USnews college rankings. Example

1 LAC for the year Swarthmore with Sats 1320-1500 (25-75%)

2 Amherst

3 Wiliams

4 Wellesley

5 Pomona

6 Haverford

7 Middlebury

8 Bowdoin

9 Carleton

10 Bryn Mawr 1210-1420....etc.

I think US News, which started the "rankings" mania, has only been doing it's rankings for the last 7 or 8 years.

I'm a librarian so when someone is looking for something, I try to figure it out. The Wayback machine is so interesting because you can go back to the campus web pages from 1997. You can't go very far into them...some pages more than others; but it gives you a little historical feel for the changes over the last 7 years.

I found some rankings from 1996, 1999, 2000-03, but they're engineering and business program rankings.

Undergrad business:
http://www.ir.ufl.edu/nat_rankings/us_news/ugbus_old.pdf

Undergrad engineering:
http://www.ir.ufl.edu/nat_rankings/us_news/ugengr_old.pdf

Only state schools too, interesting though.

Also, I through USnews has been ranking stuff since the early 80's

"U.S. News & World Report has published college rankings since 1983"

I have a copy of the rankings from 92 (at home though, sorry) because thats when my sister applied. For the most part it was very similar to the rankings now except Penn and Duke weren't as high as they are now. Thats all i remember, sorry.

i have the rankings for '91 - '95 (top 25) and '96 - 01 (top 50). reply and tell me if you would like me to email them to you.

Hey dukedreamer could you send the rankings to me('91 Top 25 and '96 Top 50, if it's not too much trouble)? email's in my profile
