<p>The fundamental novelty of the future comes from the unknown and largely unrecognized diversity in aspirations and abilities of each new generation. Some of that novelty and diversity in its most constructive aspect comes from each school. A school participates and enhances that diversity for many reasons it understands and many more that it does not.
