should i bother making one to submit alongside my application--think it will help my chances? id rather not do it, since my ECs are not very strong, but if thats what all the super-competitive kids are doing, then maybe i should to...

I wouldn't do it unless it would add something to your application. If you can fit everything on the app, then it would just be a repeat of wha they already know, and if ECs are not your strong suit, it would point that out. Trust your instincts, here. What everyone else does is not necessarly right for you.

if ecs are not strong.dont send a resume.they are meant to highlight the more comprehensive range of ec and other objects u have.since ur case is diff.it may be seen as senseless information and wud do no help....... and what if super-competitive kids are doing,
u shud know what to do for u.uniqueness is always appreciated in college admi. process

how detailed can your resume be? For example I want to put down activities I proposed and organized for different extracurriculars in addition to simply putting down the name of the club, officer position, and hours.

u can as long as they are valid facts..that have solid foundations...... i mean that u cant put hypothetical stuff or imaginary stuff ..it can be comprehensive but make it as short as possible for ecah activity ...however if there is is huge matter to put and huge no. of activities then a longer resume otherwise not....

How do you send the resume? Do you just mail it in its own separate envelope? And If I am applying early action to Yale, when I give school envelopes to my teachers to send reccommendations in do I make my own checkbox or something to say that they are early action?

Does anyone have a sample resume that I can see? Or know of a site or something that shows sample activities resumes?

No samples here dude... Each one is diff.. depends on how it fits ur activities.....

try to make ur unique resume and include it with the ither papers of ur application.......
