College roommates are part of the “college experience” and I hope my son gets the same great roomie experience I did. BUt with COVID, are any colleges going to give singles to freshmen – and everyone else? It sounds impossible, but is it plausible?
DH has a coworker whose son is off to his freshman year of college in the fall. He already has been told he is getting his own room.
Another coworker’s daughter is going into a double as her college is eliminating triples.
I wish I had more details, but DH didn’t know what questions to ask. It is clear that colleges are thinking about this. With some deadlines for enrollment having been moved to June 1, many probably are still waiting to see how the chips are going to fall.
