College search for high school Junior.

Hi I'm a white male from a suburban high school in Massachusetts. I want to know what schools you guys think would be good for me. Haven't taken SAT's yet.

PSATs: 171, 60 Critical Reading, 59 Math, 52 Writing
(School doesn't give on a 4.0 scale)
Unweighted GPA: 82.23 Rank: 117/242
Weighted GPA: 89.42 Rank: 93/242

No EC's really.
Played varsity football.
Played freshman basketball and baseball.

My GPA isn't including my freshman year because I transferred and they haven't added it in yet. That should definatly bring me up GPA wise because I did very well. I have taken all Honors classes except English. Did three years of Spanish.

My future plans:
a. Become a dentist
b. Do something within politics
c. Do something in business

You might want to consider SAT optional schools. You need to figure out what size and location of school you prefer and far from home

I want to be somewhat close to home but I am open to other options. I want to be at an average size school to a large school.

Just want to say… Don’t worry too much about your PSAT…I know someone who didn’t do well on the PSAT but upped it to 2100 by the time she took it for real.

Look at Northeastern and Suffolk.

Probably UMass. Lowell if not Amherst.
