I'm a high school senior looking into four year colleges.
I realize it's getting late to apply for many places but I may be doing community college next year to save money anyways.
That being said:

I'd like a place in a very "happening" area. Originally I was looking into Collumbia in Chicago for a music major, but I decided I wanted a little more stability.

Obviously music is still very important to me, so I still have my mind set on minoring in it. If at all possible, I'd prefer a place with a well-renouned music program.

I'm undecided as to what my major will be yet. Psychology is a probable possibility among many, but I'm still pretty much completely undecided.

I live in the state of Michigan. Something at least relitively close would be nice. Though I'd prefer it be in state only to save cash, I'm certainly not eliminating the possibility of going out of state as well (like I said, I was concidering Chicago before). I realize there's only so many "happening" areas available to me in Michigan.

I currently have a GPA of 3.14 and an ACT score of 20.
I feel I could significantly improve my ACT score if it's worth the trouble.

Thanks for your time.
