Should college be the best years of your life or an educational investment into your future?

Both…

educational investment, mostly because I’d like to be optimistic and think that the best years lay ahead, although I must acknowledge that college life is great. Old enough to do what I want, but not have all the responsibilities and worries that most older people have.

College should make you an educated citizen. Thats all. Monetary success is a result of risk taking, hard work ,and some luck. But being educated is not necessary. Ask the owner of nursing homes, apartments, florists shops, car dealers. The key is ownership.

Go to college to become educated. The rest is up to you.

If this were “Should college be a great experience or an educational investment into your future?” then I would say both. But I think the idea that it’s all downhill after college is terribly depressing, and am not sure why anyone would want to aspire to that.
